5.2 Teams scoring

A team consists of the defensive unit , the special teams unit and any players that score that are not categorized by the NFL franchises as a scoring player. For example an Offensive Lineman, or a Corner Back playing offense on a 'gimmick' play.
5.2.1 Touchdown
Any touchdown attributed to a Defense/Special team will score 6 pts.
5.2.2 Safety
Any safety attributed to a Defense/Special team will score 2 pts.

5.3 Special Cases

From time to time some odd plays happen that result in some less than straight forward scoring. An example of this is when a QB throws a completion followed by the receiver lateralling the ball to someone else who scores. In such cases the scoring will be resolved as per the official NFL ruling.
