The teams are split into where they were knocked out of the championship. Firstly the Regular season, The team with the lowest record getting the first pick and so on. The same procedure is then followed for the Wild card game, the Conference Championship game and the Speedwing Bowl. Finally the Speedwing Bowl Champions receive the twelfth pick in each round.

4.3 Trading

There is another way that you can better your team. This involves trading with another owner for members of their roster. For example if you are lucky enough to have 3 excellent quarterbacks, but only have 2 decent running backs, you may want to trade with an owner who is in desperate need of a QB. You may swap one-for-one, two-for-one, three-for-two, or any other combination that suits you. You could also swap players for future draft picks, it is completely between the 2 owners. The possibilities are endless.
4.3.1 Limitations
The trade will only be completed once the Commissioner has been informed of the full terms of the trade.
4.3.2 Trade Embargo
To ensure fair play, no trading can take place after the last week 8 match until after the Speedwing Bowl.
