The Roster is the number of players and teams that each franchise has the rights to.
3.1.1 Roster limit during Regular and Post Season playDuring the Regular and Post Seasons, the Roster is limited to 22 players/teams. The make up of the roster is at the discretion of each owner . The only stipulation is that there must be enough members in each category to make to field an active squad.3.1.2 Roster limit during the Off SeasonThe Off Season is defined as the time between the end of the Post Season and the beginning of the next Regular Season. During the Off Season the limit is increased to 26. This limit can be exceeded by teams draft picks or by trades, but to pick up free agents a team MUST cut done to Off Season limit first. | ||

The Active Squad is a subset of the Roster, and are the only members that count for point scoring.
3.2.1 Active Squad breakdownOf the Roster , 9 members will make up the active squad . This will be made up as follows:-1 x Quarterback 2 x Running Backs 3 x Wide Receivers 1 x Tight End 1 x Kicker 1 x Team 3.2.2 Deadline for Active Squad nominationsAll active squads must be supplied by midnight on the Friday of that week.3.2.3 Deadline exceptions ( Thursday games )To nominate a player for inclusion in the Active Squad, when he is playing in a Thurday game, he must be nominated before 17:00 on that particular Thursday. The rest of the Active Squad does not have to be nominated before midnight Friday.3.2.4 Failure to meet the deadlineIf no active squad is received by the Commissioner by the deadline , then the previous weeks active squad will be used . No matter what the consequences . If a player is nominated on Friday, but actually played on Thursday, then that player will be disqualified. No substitute for that player will be accepted. | ||
| 3.3 Injured Reserve | ||

A player is placed on Injured Reserve, in the NFL, when his injury is so serious that he will not be
able to play again, during the current season.
3.3.1 How and when is a player placed on Injured Reserve ?Any player that is placed on Injured Reserve by an NFL team is considered to be placed on Injured Reserve for AFFL purposes , automatically .3.3.2 How does an Injured Reserve player affect the Roster ?During the season a player on Injured Reserve DOES NOT count as a member of your roster , therefore you can sign a free agent to maintain your roster strength of 22. During the off season a player on Injured Reserve DOES count towards the limit set in rule 3.1.2.3.3.3 Signing Injured Reserve Free AgentsAny Free Agents on Injured Reserve can be signed by any owner, but they WILL count as part of your Roster. The one exception to this rule is players on Injured Reserve that are traded between teams, they will still NOT count as part of the Roster.3.3.4 When does a player come off of Injured Reserve ?Once the Season is over he is automatically considered to no longer on Injured Reserve3.3.5 LimitationsThere is no limit to the number of players each franchise can have on Injured Reserve. | ||

For a Post Season game, each team will also supply a list of 3 players/teams for an Overtime Squad.
This squad will be used in event of a tied game.
3.4.1 Overtime Squad breakdownThree platers/teams are nominated in specific order.1 x OT1 1 x OT2 1 x OT3 3.4.2 When does the Overtime Squad have to nominated by ?The same rules apply to the Overtime Squad as they do for the Active Squad.
