2 The Season

2.1 Regular Season
 
The Regular Season will consist of 14 games, In a league phase.
2.1.1 Conference Games
Each team will play the other teams in it's Conference twice , 10 games .
2.1.2 Non-Conference Games
Each team will play four games against teams in the other Conference. If a team finished in the top four, of it's Conference the previous season, then it will play each team that finished from first to fourth in the other Conference. If a team finished fifth or sixth, in it's Conference the previous season, then it will play the teams that finished fifth or sixth, in the other Conference, twice.

2.2 Post Season
 
The Post Season will take 3 weeks and will consist of 6 teams, in a knockout phase, immediately following on from the end of the Regular Season. The 3 best teams in each Conference will compete for the Speedwing Bowl, the other 3 teams in each Conference will compete for the Consolation Bowl.
2.2.1 Wild Card Games
The teams with the second and third best Regular Season records will play each other, in each Conference.
2.2.2 Conference Championship Games
The Wild Card game winner will play the team with the best Regular Season record, from it's own Conference.
2.2.3 Speedwing Bowl
The 2 Conference Champions will play each other.
2.2.4 Consolation Bowl
The format will mirror the Speedwing Bowl playoffs. Round One will consist of the teams with the fifth and sixth best Regular Season Records will play each other , in each Conference. In Round two the Round One game winner will play the team with the fourth best Regular Season record, in each Conference. The winners of the Round Two games will play each other for the Consolation Bowl.

2.3 Special Game - Pro Bowl
 
In the same week as the Speedwing Bowl, the owners of the losing Conference Championship teams will submit a team made up of players from ANY team in their own Conference. These all-star teams will play each other for the AFFL's equivalent of the NFL's Pro Bowl.
